Electronics giant Sony has just announced a line of 3D camcorders at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The lead model of the bunch is the HDR-TD10, which is being pushed as the world’s first “Double Full HD” consumer 3D camcorder. Under the hood, it packs serious horsepower in the form of pairs Sony G lenses, “Exmor R” CMOS image sensors, and double BIONZ image processors. For easy previewing of footage, the camera comes with a 3.5 inch glasses-free LCD display. For storage the camcorder comes with 64GB of built-in flash memory and is expandable. The HDR-TD10 hits stores in the US this April for $1,500.
